Police are still searching for an Amazon delivery van stolen in a knifepoint robbery, which is thought to be full of Christmas presents.

The van is one of two taken in Birmingham and Sandwell on Friday afternoon.

Although a police swoop on a property in Quinton has netted one of the vans and more than 170 parcels, at least 150 packages are still missing.

West Midlands Police officers are working with the online retail giant to determine what was taken, and who ordered the stolen presents.

Five men aged between 21 and 50 were arrested earlier and have been released on police bail.

Police believe that one of the vans had just been unloaded but that the other, which is still missing, may still be full of presents.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have seen the vans in the area, or who has any information about the theft, to come forward.
