More homes evacuated in Lincolnshire flooding
Emergency services have started a new mass evacuation of 290 homes in the Wainfleet area.

They have issued a list of more than 30 postcodes which are now under threat from flooding. This is in addition to the 100 homes affected yesterday.
Lincolnshire Police are co-ordinating the rescue efforts from the command centre in Lincoln and said residents could be away from their homes for as around 48 hours.
There is now a significant additional risk from the River Steeping despite repairs to a burst bank yesterday.
Lincoln City Council have called the RAF called back to the area to drop more bags of ballast to help plug the riverbank.
There are FLOOD WARNINGS in place over parts of Lincolnshire issued by The Environment Agency.
Emergency services began rescuing people from homes in Wainfleet yesterday Friday June 14, 2019 as floods continued to cause damage to properties.
Around 100 homes are thought to have been swamped in the deluge after the River Steeping burst its banks on Thursday.
