Calendar Weekend Weather - Update with Kerrie

It's not the best of June weekend forecasts but compared to the last few days we'll see a little more sunshine, it will feel a little warmer in any sun and rain will be less impactful.

Although conditions are better it's not a dry outlook and ongoing river flooding issues are expected to continue in and around Wainfleet, Lincolnshire - where 134mm of rain has fallen so far this week.

Our only dry day in the current 5 day forecast is Tuesday.

There are FLOOD WARNINGS in place over parts of Lincolnshire issued by The Environment Agency.

There are no current Met Office Weather Warnings in place.

SATURDAY:

Dry at first, with bright or sunny spells, these especially for eastern areas. Cloudy conditions and showers or longer spells of rain will spread from the west today, reaching all areas by evening and turning locally heavy. Highs 19°C.

OVERNIGHT:

Showers or longer spells of rain, locally heavy, will clear away northeastwards durning the evening. Drier conditions with clear spells follow. Lows 7°C.

SUNDAY:

Dry and sunny start, but cloud will build and scattered showers will develop. Some showers will become heavy through the afternoon, with a small chance of thunder. Breezy, but from a warm southerly direction. Highs 18-20°C.

OUTLOOK:

Monday will be breezy and showery.Tuesday dry and warm with sunny spells.Wednesday risk of thunderstorms or areas of heavy rain arriving from the south.
