Border St Bees School

The 400-year-old school was closed because of falling pupil numbers, but has been saved thanks to a partnership with a Chinese group.

Five governors have resigned, and four new ones have been appointed. In March, it was controversially announced the school would close.

The group set up to stop the closure of the 400-year-old Cumbrian school say they've been overwhelmed by the generosity of the community.
