Father of eight (!) Ashley Walters wants to inspire troubled youths
Ashley Walters spoke about life as a father of eight (!) on the show this morning, revealing that he tries to free himself up as much as he can to spend time with them individually
Ashley also spoke to Susanna about the gang problems in London. Having had a troubled youth himself, the actor and rapper is passionate about inspiring youths of today, and showing them that there is a different path they can take.
"It starts with the community, and it starts with us ... we need to stand up and be counted now and start to influence these children," he told us.
Ashley also took the time to urge people to move away from the 'non-snitching' culture on the street, adding "we all need to do something about this now."
Ashley can be seen in new drama Safe Houses which starts tonight at 9pm on ITV.
