John Partridge bares all in The Real Full Monty: Live
Former EastEnders star John Partridge shared his personal story for the first time, to raise awareness of men's cancers for The Real Full Monty: Live show.
John, who’s planning to hop into his dancing shoes and strip during the live show, opened up about his struggles of being diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2004.
The former soap star admitted to feeling ‘embarrassed’ and chose to ignore his condition - and even kept it a secret from those closest - including his mother, who sadly passed away last year.
John said: “I thought you [employers] are not going to take me out on the road on a 52-week tour, eight shows a week if you [employers] have health concerns about me - and that’s what I thought - so I chose never to talk about it.”
The Real Full Monty airs on Tuesday at 9pm on ITV and is followed by The Real Full Monty: Ladies' Night on Thursday.
