'Give Jeremy a chance'

Last night Jeremy Corbyn and Owen Smith went head-to-head in the first of five Labour leadership debates in Cardiff. The duo clashed over the conflict within the party, fighting the Conservatives, the economy, the future of Trident and winning the next General Election.

Corbyn supporter and Labour Shadow Health Secretary, Diane Abbott joined Ben and Kate to discuss Owen Smith’s criticism of Jeremy’s leadership of the party. She was adamant in her defence of Corbyn, stating,

“[Labour party members] should support him as most of them have supported other Labour leaders..."
