It’s the single most nerve-racking thing you’ll do in your life
Theresa May faced her first Prime Minster’s Questions today and former Conservative leader Iain Duncan Smith was on hand to provide some timely advice on how she should handle the House. The MP, who didn’t back May in the recent Conservative leadership election, explains that PMQ’s is a little bit like driving a fast car down a narrow lane with absolutely no space for hesitation.
Duncan Smith also touched on the current race for the Labour leadership and said that he couldn’t tell if Owen Smith was left leaning or a Blairite, and that he could ‘hop between the two’.
