Dr Mopp goes to Chigley Pottery to buy a vase for his sister. Lord Belborough arrives on his steam engine, Bessie, to take a crate of pottery to Treddles Wharf, where he collects a mysterious crate. What could it contain?

Lord Belborough helps Farmer Bell with a biscuit delivery.

Bessie to the Rescue

When Farmer Bell delivers some produce to the Chigley biscuit factory he finds that a box of biscuits meant for delivery has been left behind. He gives it to Lord Belborough to take to Treddles Wharf on his train Bessie, saving the day!

Lord Belborough is asked to help with fundraising ideas, and finds sudden inspiration.

The Balloon

The Mayor of Trumpton visits Lord Belborough and asks him for fundraising ideas for the Old People's Holiday Fund. When Lord Belborough has to go to the Pottery he gives Winnie a ride on Bessie. Her balloon gives him an idea.

PC McGarry visits Chigley Pottery, and talks to Mr Cresswell about a stone fountain.

The Fountain

At Chigley Pottery, Mr Farthing tells PC McGarry that there is not much demand for stone sculptures these days. When McGarry visits the biscuit factory, he suggests to Mr Cresswell that a stone fountain would look nice.

Lord Belborough accidentally crashes a new lawnmower into his garden wall.

The Garden Wall

When Lord Belborough takes on a delivery of a new lawnmower, he accidentally sends it crashing into his garden wall. He asks Mr Clutterbuck, the builder, to come and rebuild it. But a delivery of bricks is waiting at Treddles Wharf.

Roger Varley visits to help clean Bessie the steam engine and Binnie the pumping engine.

Binnie and Bessie

Chimney sweep Roger Varley comes to Winkstead Hall to help clean Bessie the steam engine and Binnie the pumping engine. But the hall has run out of coal, so they have to take Bessie and go to Treddles Wharf to pick up a load of coal.

Lord Belborough accidentally breaks an antique vase when showing it to his butler!

Lord Belborough's Lucky Day

While showing his butler an antique vase Lord Belborough drops it and it shatters. The butler puts the pieces in the dustbin which is collected by the dustmen. But when they go to Treddles Wharf, there is a surprise in store.

Mr Carraway is making deliveries when he finds out that the bridge has been closed.

The Broken Bridge

Mr Carraway the fishmonger delivers to the canteen at the biscuit factory when PC McGarry comes to tell him that the Chigley bridge has been closed. The soldiers of Pippin Fort have a temporary bridge at Treddles Wharf, though.

Trouble with The Crane

At Treddles Wharf a crate of antique books for Lord Belborough is being unloaded from Mr Rumpling's boat. A crate of Farmer Bell's scrap metal is being loaded onto it. When the crane breaks and drops a crate in the canal, which one could it be?

Windy Miller suggests a bumper crop of apples be turned into apple juice using his press.

Apples Galore

Windy Miller suggests that the bumper crop of apples from the orchard at Winkstead Hall could be turned into apple juice using his cider press. Farmer Bell, the Fire Brigade, Lord Belborough and Bessie all help make the juice.

Mr Cresswell's nephew, Wilie, runs into some troubles working as a delivery driver.

Willie Munn

Greengrocer Mr Clamp is making a delivery to the biscuit factory canteen. He asks Mr Cresswell about his nephew Willie. Willie is a bit of a daydreamer, but loves cars. They give him the job of delivery driver but he comes across some problems.

Mr Bilton, Winkstead Hall gardener, is not feeling well and Mr Antonio offers to help him.

A Present for Lord Bellborough

Mr Antonio, the ice cream man, is making a delivery to Winkstead Hall. He gets chatting to Mr Bilton, the gardener, who is not feeling well. Antonio helps him by mowing the lawn. Lord Belborough would like to get a motor mower for him.
