We meet 'Britain’s loneliest sheep' after her rescue mission
Last week a sheep was dubbed ‘Britain’s loneliest sheep’ after it was found living alone, stranded at the bottom of a remote cliff in the Scottish Highlands. Although it had survived for two years with ample grass and water, she was in desperate need of shearing and some company.
The site is difficult to reach by land or sea, but on Saturday a rescue team were able to abseil the sheep to safety. Today, Dr Scott is live from Dalscone Farm in Dumfries with the rescue group and finding out how newly-named Fiona the ewe is settling into her new home.
