Thousands of woman being denied drug for breast cancer
Thousands of breast cancer patients in England and Wales are potentially having their lives cut short, after being denied access to a drug that has been shown to boost survival time by more than a third.
Despite Enhertu being available in Scotland and 15 other countries around the world, medical regulators in England have so far refused to approve the treatment over concerns about cost. Following the news, we're joined by Sophie Blake, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2020, alongside Dr Semiya.
