The truth about canned hunting
The story of Cecil the Lion's death at the hands of an American hunter caused worldwide uproar. It also began a global conversation about the ethics of hunting wild animals and another practice known as canned hunting, where animals are bred and kept in confined spaces for the sole purpose of hunting and killing them.
We are joined today by actress Diane Keen, patron of a charity concerned with the welfare of lions, co-founded by fellow guest Dr Pieter Kat. They are here to condemn canned hunting and lay out their hopes for the safe future of wild animals.
