Samantha Womack is more determined than ever since breast cancer diagnosis

Sam Womack joined us in the studio for her first TV interview since she revealed she has been undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

With the support of family and fans, she’s more determined than ever, and ready to take to her throne in Narnia once again, as she prepares to welcome audiences in for a festive run of shows as the White Witch in the West End production of ‘The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe’.

During her interview, Samatha revealed that she was diagnosed around 4 months ago with breast cancer despite not feeling unwell or having any symptoms. After having a random check, an ultrasound found a shadow which was later revealed to be breast cancer.

She said: "The mad thing about cancer is when you have it you suddenly understand there are so many roads, different diagnosis.

It's a fascinating world, it's terrifying at the beginning but if there was ever a time to have it, there are so many treatments now, so many new treatments that are changing the face of cancer."
