Seven faces of a killer: Visionary killers
To mark the 150th anniversary of Berkshire's Broadmoor Hospital, a psychiatric unit for the criminally insane, we're looking at the psychology of some of the world's most dangerous killers.
So far Professor David Wilson has taken us through four of the seven typologies of a killer, looking into the minds of some of the most prolific murderers around the world. We have examined hedonistic killers, missionary killers, mass killers, and power killers, and this week we focus on visionary killers, who claim that they hear voices and see visions that tell them to kill using the example of Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe.
