Pepsi, where’s my jet?! The incredible story that’s taught at law school!
Back in the '90s, Pepsi launched an ill-fated advertising campaign to rival Coca Cola, where they allowed consumers to collect points, which they could then exchange for a series of prizes.
When they stated in their advert that if you collected 7 million points they’d give you a harrier fighter jet, most presumed it was a joke. However one man set out to prove it could be done, and it led to one of the most infamous court cases in history.
Now the subject of a new Netflix documentary, we’re joined by the man who collected those points and took Pepsi all the way to court, John Leonard, to tell his incredible story.
