Swapping powder to balmsRather than using a drying, powder blusher that can set in lines; Use a cream blush for a glowing and youthful look. Concentrate on the apples of the cheek for a more youthful flush rather than taking the colour to the temples which can look dated and ageing.

Eyeshadow to avoid drooping eyelidsAvoid applying a dark matte eyeshadow to hooded eyes as this can make them look more hooded and droopy. Instead use a soft wash or a cream textured colour to the entire lids. Shimmery Shades of beiges and soft browns are far more complimentary than dark browns and blacks. Avoid kohl pencils for older eyes as this can look too harsh.

Creating a fuller lipLips can appear thinner and wrinkles set in as we get older. Use a hydrating lipstick in a soft natural colour to give lips a fuller, plumper effect.

How to achieve soft browsCreate a soft brow with brow shadow instead of pencil. Powder helps to soften features and makes them look more youthful and timeless.
