On Saturday 29 March 2014, same-sex marriage became legal in England and Wales. Hundreds of same-sex couples across the land chose this landmark day to tie the knot but one couple went a step further by turning their ceremony into a musical that was filmed by Channel 4!

Newlyweds Benjamin Till and Nathan Taylor wrote and staged their entire wedding as a musical - with sung vows, sung readings and jazz-hand-infused ensembles featuring the whole congregation of family, friends and special guests.

They join us today to talk about making history as the first (but surely not the last) gay couple to make a musical out of marriage.
