Meet the star of ITVX drama ‘The confessions of Frannie Langton’
Rising star Karla-Simone Spence joins us for new drama ‘The Confessions of Frannie Langton’. She plays the title role, a young woman born into a life of slavery who is accused of murder and is fighting to tell her own story.
Speaking about the show, Karla said: "Frannie is very real to me and I love her so much. Being able to tell her story and convey it in a truthful way that can impact people and touch people is just an honour for me."
She added: "Honestly, I'm just so glad that my first lead role I could play a Jamaican woman, it means so much to me."
The drama premiered on ITVX on 8th December and is available to watch now.
