Liz Dawn's near-death experience
In 2008, Liz Dawn, one of the country's most celebrated actresses, was forced to quit her beloved role as Corrie battle-axe Vera Duckworth after being diagnosed with incurable lung disease. Then, in April this year, Liz, 73, was hit with another terrifying health scare when she suffered a heart attack whilst on holiday in Spain. Thankfully Liz had a life-saving operation to fit a pacemaker and is recovering well. She joins us today to talk openly about her health battles.
