I'm an Obsessive Compulsive Cleaner
It's not cool, it's not fun to have, and I strive every day to get better
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is the fourth most common mental illness in the UK, and is expected to affect approximately 740,000 people at any one time.
Hayley Leitch was diagnosed with OCD in 2007 and at her worst, would wash her hands with neat bleach up to 60 times a day.
Hayley joins us to talk about the most recent series of Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners, as well as the struggle that she faces every day.
Hayley told us: "I wake up in the morning, and I'm forced, against my will, to carry out these rituals to keep my children safe."
"At its worst, when I was first diagnosed, there were times when I wanted to die."
TV: Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners: Country House Rescue, starts tonight at 8pm on Channel 4
