Hugh Bonneville closes the Downton doors
Lord of the Abbey Hugh Bonneville is close to drawing the curtains on the show that made him a household name. Downton Abbey's sixth series ended on Sunday, and the show is set to air its final ever episode on Christmas Day.
Hugh's here today to talk about how it feels to leave Lord Grantham behind, and with talks of spin-off prequels and even a film, does he really think this is goodbye?
Hugh will also discuss how he recently swapped the comforts of the Abbey for rural India, when he visited the country as an ambassador for WaterAid to see how clean water and improved sanitation can transform lives.
Hugh visited Narai Ka Pura, a community in northern India without clean water or toilets, and then went to Mahadev Pura where WaterAid has worked to improve access to these basic resources.
