Gino’s swapping tiramisu for tipples, to give Holly and Dermot a cocktail masterclass like no other! He’ll be making sure things are shaken not stirred, as he shares his secret for creating the perfect summer cocktails. Advance warning - the measurements may be larger than you’re used to!
Classic Bellini
40ml Peach Puree
110ml Prosecco Cavit
Method
1. Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass, stir to chill with minimal dilution. 8-10 rotations.
2. Strain the Bellini into a chilled flute using a julep strainer. Serve.
Gino and the Giant Peach
35ml Chamberyzette aperitif
15ml Aelred Nectarine
75ml Prosecco Cavit
30ml Fever-Tree Lime Soda
Ice cubes
2 basil leaves
2 strawberries, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
Method
1. Put all the ingredients into a wine glass, including the ice cubes and garnish.
2. Stir them together to ensure even distribution of garnish and mixing of the drink ingredients. Serve.
Negroni
25ml Malfy Originiale Gin
25ml Campari
25ml Carpano Classico
Ice cubes
Orange zest
Method
1. Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass, stir to chill with minimal dilution. 8-10 rotations.
2. Fill a Bach Double Old Fashioned glass with fresh ice.
3. Strain the Negroni into the glass using a julep strainer.
4. Garnish with orange zest using tweezers.
