Fred Dinenage shares the exclusive Kray Twins tapes found in his attic
For decades they were feared as the ultimate criminal gang lords of London. But in 1969, the Kray Twins’ reign of terror came crashing to an end, when they were given life sentences for their extensive crimes. During that time, acclaimed broadcaster and ITV News Meridian presenter Fred Dinenage was chosen by the twins to tell their official story, becoming one of the few people allowed into their inner circle.
More than 50 years on, Fred is giving audiences an insight into the notorious criminals. As he embarks on a theatre tour around the UK, he’s joining us to reveal what audiences can expect and how some old tapes in his attic led to a warning from the Kray’s from beyond the grave.
