Fillet steak with chimichurri sauce

Corrie Stalwart Antony Cotton, with his glamorous assistant Enid Dunn (a.k.a. his mum!) are here to cook-up a steak fit for a king... and cause a bit of chaos in the This Morning kitchen.

Ingredients

4 fillet steaks, approx. 150g

Handful fresh parsley, chopped finely

Handful fresh coriander, chopped finely

2 tbsp Red wine vinegar

1 shallot, chopped

1 clove of garlic, chopped finely

Half a red chilli, chopped finely

Salt and pepper

Juice of a lemon

3 tbsp olive oil

Method

Mix the parsley, coriander, vinegar, shallot, garlic, chilli, lemon juice, oil, salt and pepper in a bowl.
Season the steak with salt and pepper, cook for 2 minutes each side for a rare steak.
Serve with a dressed green salad and creamy mashed potato.
