ROSPA
For 100 years, RoSPA has been quietly working behind the scenes to change both legislation and attitudes surrounding accidents. RoSPA has been instrumental in shaping our society for the better, preventing millions of deaths and serious injuries along the way.
Dan’s Fund for Burns
Created by Polly Brooks (Miller) who lost her husband in in the aftermath of the 2002 Bali bombings, and as the sole survivor of a party of ten, is a burns survivor herself. She saw first-hand just how devastating a burn can be, both physically and emotionally. She experienced how little aftercare and support there was for adult burn survivors in the UK and decided to do something about it. Our mission is to be an ever-ready source of assistance for burn survivors throughout the UK. From help and guidance, to funding, job retraining, equipment for hospitals and more. We strive to create a world where every survivor feels supported. We offer assistance in the immediate aftermath of a burn injury and for the long term, lifechanging implications. (See Adult Burns Support UK below)/

The foundation also aims to offer non-medical advice to empower people and build up their confidence by showing them how to look and feel their best again.
