Life after Lee: Private Rigby's fiancée speaks out
It was a horrific and seemingly random attack on an innocent soldier, which took place on a busy South-East London street last May. Twenty-five-year-old Private Lee Rigby was off duty when he was attacked by two men who knocked him down in their car, and then stabbed him to death in the street.
Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale claimed they were avenging the killing of Muslims by British armed forces and were convicted of his murder in December, and this week sentenced to a whole-life term and a minimum of 45 years in prison respectively.
But for Lee's fiancée Aimee West, the nightmare continues as she tries to rebuild her life, nine months on. In her first television interview, Aimee reflects on life without Lee and her plans for the future.
