Two holidaymakers rescued by hovercraft in North Somerset
Footage has been released of two holidaymakers who had to be rescued after becoming stranded in mud on a beach in North Somerset.
The pair were kayaking at Brean Beach when they became stuck half a mile offshore on a falling tide.
The man and woman had travelled from Doncaster for a holiday.
Burnham's BARB Search & Rescue hovercraft was called to the scene and brought them both back to safety. They were unhurt.
