Simon Hallett: 'No pressure on Plymouth Argyle fans to waive their season ticket refund'

Plymouth Argyle chairman, Simon Hallett, says that he will put more of his own money into the club this week to help steer it through the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 2019/20 season was brought to an abrupt end in early March and all football clubs have been counting the cost.

The Pilgrims were promoted on 9 June and can start planning for life in League One next season but Argyle's majority shareholder admits that the interim will be "very difficult".

Hallett told ITV News West Country that the club is now searching for different revenue streams.

He has also thanked supporters who have already said they don't want a refund on season tickets for for this curtailed campaign and said there will be no pressure on others who want to get some of their money back.
