The Devon nurse - who got a standing ovation on Britain's Got Talent - relives her battle with coronavirus
A nurse from Devon who has cruised through to the next round of Britain’s Got Talent has described her battle with coronavirus.
Beth Porch stunned Simon Cowell and his fellow judges after performing a song she wrote to reflect the challenges of working in a hospital.
The 25-year-old works as a nurse in London, which is where she caught Covid-19.
Beth’s performance on Britain’s Got Talent, which was televised last weekend, reduced judges Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden to tears.
Both praised the 25-year-old for her work as a frontline nurse, while Simon Cowell described her song as “beautiful”.
Beth said although music is her passion, her “priority” at this time is to continue working as a nurse.
