A man who assaulted a police officer and an ambulance worker in Trowbridge has been jailed for six months.
An ambulance was called to 35-year-old Darren Bosworth's home on Gloucester Road, Trowbridge, last Friday morning [17 April] over concerns for his welfare.
He punched an emergency care worker in the face and, when police support arrived, Bosworth also assaulted an officer.
Darren Bosworth appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court via video link on Saturday 18 April.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting an emergency worker and criminal damage.
The criminal damage charge relates to the emergency care assistant’s glasses, worth £300, being broken during the assault.
