Firefighters deal with major fire in loading crane at Royal Portbury Dock in Bristol
More than 20 firefighters were called out to tackle a fire at the Royal Portbury Dock in Bristol at the weekend.
It broke out in a huge crane which was loading a ship on Saturday evening, 28 March. The ship, the Thalassini, which was carrying barley, was unaffected.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service says the blaze is thought to have been caused accidentally. Crews from Avonmouth, Pill, Portishead, Temple and Kingswood fire stations were all called to the scene.
