Firefighters in Yate battle dramatic car fire

Avon Fire and Rescue crews from Yate were called to reports of a car fire on Acton Turville Road in Tormarton in the early hours of this morning (Thursday 6 February).

When firefighters arrived they were faced with flames billowing out of a car at around 3am.

They used breathing apparatus for safety and one hose to extinguish the fire.

It's thought the fire was started deliberately.
