Popular Dartmoor pony centre to close down after more than 30 years
A Dartmoor pony centre which welcomes around 35,000 visitors every season has announced it's closing down after more than 30 years.
The Miniature Pony Centre near Moretonhampstead will officially close on Sunday 27 October.
Staff at the much-loved attraction must now find homes for the ponies, who they describe as "irreplaceable" and "one of a kind".

The decision was announced earlier this week on the centre's Facebook page, where it was inundated with comments from more than 2,000 people.
In the post a spokesperson said the decision was "extremely difficult" and not one "made lightly".
Users then shared their memories of The Miniature Pony Centre, with many commenting they will take their families for one last time during the October half term.
