Bertie the blind dog from Exeter is looking for a home
An RSPCA centre near Exeter is looking for a home for Bertie, a dog who is losing his eyesight.
The centre say that his limited vision causes him to often bump into objects he cannot see. He therefore needs an "understanding" home and with a "supportive and consistent environment".
They are hoping to find a place where "where his poor eyesight won’t hold him back".
It was "through no fault of his own" that the six-year-old terrier arrived at RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter.
RSPCA Little Valley Manager, Jo Evans, said: "He’s still an energetic boy and cannot wait to explore some new exciting walks. Bertie loves his toys and has bonded really well with a few of the staff here. Bertie will take time to settle into a home and a routine but will be a very rewarding and loving companion. Please contact us if you have a quiet and understanding home for our lovely boy!”
