Honda Logistics to close in Swindon putting 1,200 jobs at risk
A company that supplies parts to the Honda car plant in Swindon is set to close - putting more than 1,000 jobs at risk.
Honda Logistics Ltd - which is an affiliate of Honda UK - announced the decision on its website yesterday (October 7).
The company said Honda UK’s decision to close its main car plant and pull production out of Swindon by 2021 had made its business in the town unviable.
