A grieving woman from Padstow - whose sister died in a tragedy at the town's Obby Oss festival - says she wants to give something back to the community in her memory.

Before her death mother-of-two Laura Smallwood had pledged to raise money for the neonatal unit where she worked at the Royal Cornwall Hospital. She had already done a charity skydive.

Now her sister Katy alongside one of Laura's best friends, Nina, have decided they will skydive in her memory.

Laura sustained serious neck injuries after apparently being struck by the wooden 'Obby Oss' on May 1st.

She was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth but later died.

Tributes flooded in for Laura after she died, from colleagues at work, friends and family.

Katy and their friend Nina decided to raise money in their sister's honour. They found out the neonatal nurse wanted to raise money for a new incubator for the Royal Cornwall Hospital where she worked and so they decided to do it for her with a charity skydive.

Devon and Cornwall Police investigated the incident but said there will be no criminal charges brought in connection with Laura's death.
