Man charged after explosives found in Bristol home

A man has been charged after police found explosives at a home in Filton near Bristol.

Matthew Glynn, who's 37, has been charged with possessing and controlling explosives with intent to endanger life or injure property.

He appeared before Bristol Magistrates on Wednesday (25th July).

The case has been adjourned until consent from Attorney General, the UK’s chief legal advisor, given.

Four days after police and bomb disposal unit were called to the property in Filton Avenue the cordon has now been lifted and neighbours can return to their homes.
