Sherford changes to be unveiled
Changes to a new town taking shape just outside Plymouth will be unveiled at a public consultation this weekend.
A new design for Sherford was rejected in July by Plymouth City Council. But in August, South Hams District Council Planning Committee approved the plans and granted consent.
But, after a review highlighted complexities on the site - including issues around water drainage - a new planning application will be submitted to the Local Authorities in early 2018.
A series of consultation events will also be held.
Work on the project began last year and the school was started in October.
Sherford is being built near Plymstock and will eventually be home to more than 12,000 people.
You can find more information about the Sherford development on the project website.
