Major Incident declared in Cornwall over Coverack flood
An emergency centre has been opened in Cornwall's County Hall in the wake of a flash flood which hit the village of Coverack on the Lizard Peninsula.
Around 50 homes are thought to be affected by flooding - and there are no reports of any injuries so far.
There are 15 fire engines are currently at the scene, they have rescued a number of people from their properties, and this work is continuing.
The road into Coverack has been affected by the flooding and is currently impassable.
