Family of Mitzi Steady: 'Nothing can bring her back'

The family of Mitzi Steady have released a statement following the trial.

After Peter Wood and Matthew Gordon were found guilty of her manslaughter by gross negligence a statement from her family was released by the police.

The families of three men also killed in the horrific crash paid tribute to their loved ones.

Mitzi Steady's family described her as an 'outgoing, fun, beautiful girl'.

They said her 'confidence and independence' grew to a new level in the months before her death, allowing them to 'glimpse the girl that she should have become'.

The wives of Welshmen Robert Parker, 59, Philip Allen, 52, and Stephen Vaughan, 34, who died when the truck crashed into their car, also released statements.

Denise Parker, Robert's wife, said he was 'a wonderful, kind, caring husband; a truly amazing Dad and a loving brother'.
