Last minute preparations for Bridgwater Carnival
Hundreds of carnival members are putting the last minute touches to their carts ahead of the annual Bridgwater Carnival.
It's billed as the largest illuminated carnival in Europe and 100,000 people are expected to line the streets with many more watching online as this year the event is streamed live for the first time.
Most clubs will be pulling an all-nighter tonight including Alan Windsor from the Marketeers Carnival Club:
The Marketeers cart has a quarter of a million LED lights which can blend into 16 million colours.
People travel from all over the world to see the procession with some coming from Miami and even Australia this year.
Malcolm Cattle has been working on the carnival for 54 years.
So how does it feel for the people performing in front of a hundred thousand people?
Here's a video of previous entries into the carnival:
The parade will start at 7pm Saturday with squibbing taking place afterwards.
This year the event will be streamed from midday and although it is free organisers are asking people to make [donations](http://Donation Page ) if they can.
