'Drug dealers buried Becky Godden' says Halliwell
The man accused of murdering Swindon woman Becky Godden has told a jury her body was buried in a field by two drugs dealers.
Mr Halliwell denies killing the 20 year old in 2003 - he led police officers to the place where she was buried in 2011.
The minicab driver told Bristol Crown Court this morning two drug dealers wanted to get rid of something in a bag and he drove them there and buried it.
Halliwell told the jury they later told him it was the body of a prostitute.
He said when he was arrested for killing a Swindon woman in 2011, he directed police there so he could stay out of the police station for another hour.
Halliwell later told the court he couldn't care less if he's found guilty or not guilty.
Yesterday the jury were shown a video of a police interview in which The Prosecution says Halliwell offers to make a deal with officers.
