The UK's biggest mechanical puppet has arrived in Penzance for one of the last stops of its two week tour across Cornwall.

The Man Engine was created to celebrate the region's rich mining history - and the people of Cornwall have been celebrating along with him.

Whatever the weather, it seems the crowds couldn't get enough.

We've been looking back at some of his best bits:

He awoke for the very first time in Tavistock two weeks ago -causing quite a stir as he transformed up into the sky to the height of three double decker busses.

The Man Engine has won the hearts of the West Country - and something tells us this won't be the last we see of him.
