Going underground to see Cornwall's mining heritage

Many of you will be familiar with the Man Engine - the giant mechanical puppet that is nearing the end of his two week tour of the South West.

Of course, the purpose of the Man Engine is to celebrate our region's rich mining heritage - which dates back more than 4,000 years.

Our Cornwall Correspondent Steve Hardy has been finding out how mining has shaped the landscape and been hearing more about the miners who worked in the industry.
