Human remains found are confirmed as those of missing DJ Derek Morris
Police say human remains found in woodland near Bristol are likely to be those of the missing DJ, Derek Morris.
Officers were called to an area near the Cribbs Causeway shopping centre yesterday afternoon and have informed Derek's family of the discovery.
Sources say it was a member of the public who was out shooting rabbits last night that spotted the remains near the Bristol mall.
The body was found in a scrubland, just a few miles away from the DJ's home.>Since the discovery, tributes have been pouring in for missing Derek Morris.
The iconic DJ retired in 2013 after a run on Bristol music scene for more than forty years, but he disappeared last year.>He was last seen leaving The Criterion Pub in Ashley Road, Bristol last July.
