A boy was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff for treatment after a firework hit him in the face.

An annual fireworks event in Cardiff has been cancelled "for the foreseeable future" after organisers said they could not keep up with the rising costs.

New research has found that 89% of Welsh owners notice "significant changes" in their dog's behaviour during the firework season, with 1/3 dogs "terrified".
