A rare and sometimes deadly disease saw Nate Davies need a blood transfusion while still in the womb at 28 weeks, and again when he was just a day old.

New rules come into force today that will see a blanket ban on people from the LGBT+ community lifted following years of campaigning.

The Welsh Blood Service says stocks can run low at this time of year and is reminding people to donate.
