Six further people have died after contracting coronavirus in Wales, taking the total to 1,497
The latest figures, released by Public Health Wales, show there have been 125 new cases reported in the country.
That means that the total number of cases now stands at 15,466.
It comes as other figures, released by the Nuffield Trust, showed that Wales is experiencing the slowest decline in Covid-19 cases compared to any other part of the UK.
The analysis by the trust looks at the rate of infection per 100,000 of the population.
Wales has experienced the highest number of cases at 475. This is followed by the North East of England at 391. The South West of England has the lowest number of COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people, at 139.
The Nuffield Trust figures show how Wales has the slowest decline in the virus as well as an apparent 'bump' where cases rose compared to other parts of the UK before beginning to fall again.
There have been a number of 'isolated' incidents where an outbreak of the virus has had to be contained over the past week, with three food factories returning a number of positive tests.
Up to 175 workers at a chicken plant factory in Anglesey returned positive results for the virus, with details showing that up to 300 cases could be attributed to the outbreaks at the factories.
