Cardiff health board confirms further death after nurse dies from coronavirus
Tributes have been paid to a nurse who died from coronavirus in Cardiff.
Dominga David, who joined the health board in 2004, contracted Covid-19 and was admitted to intensive care.
The health board said she died on Tuesday - the same day a hospital theatre assistant, Allan Macalalad, also died.
In a statement, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board said Dominga was an "integral part of life" on the ward where she worked at Llandough.
"She will be remembered as an exceptionally hard worker and a respectful, kind and compassionate person when interacting with patients, families and colleagues alike."
