Another 16 people with coronavirus die in Wales, bringing total to 1,132
Another 16 people with coronavirus have died in Wales, bringing the total number of deaths so far to 1,132.
Public Health Wales said there had been 105 new cases of the virus reported today.
There have been 11,573 confirmed cases in Wales so far, although this number is likely to be higher, as not everyone with symptoms has been tested.
Rhondda Cynon Taf saw the highest number of new cases with 20, followed by Newport with 14 and Cardiff with eight.
Meanwhile, figures released by the Office for National Statistics show that care home deaths in Wales due to coronavirus have fallen for the first time.
Health Minister Vaughan Gething said Wales can expect to see a ''significant" rise in uptake and capacity of coronavirus tests, especially in the care home sector.
In today's daily press briefing, he said testing capacity has reached more than 5,000 this week, with two new testing centres having opened in Swansea and Abercynon.
Meanwhile, a consultant has told ITV News he is "extremely concerned" about a second wave of coronavirus in Wales.
Dr Jack Parry-Jones, who works at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, said: "We don't want to go back, as things start getting better, to a situation where we're massively over capacity."
